Zbliża się ważne francuskie święto narodowe – rocznica wybuchu rewolucji, za której początek uznaje się dziś zdobycie Bastylii przez mieszkańców Paryża, czyli 14 lipca 1789 r.
Tradycyjnie już z tej okazji miasto zaplanowało nie jeden, jak rok temu, ale aż trzy bale (choć nie należy tego słowa rozumieć zbyt dosłownie...):
Le P'tit bal - sarabandy i walce dla dużych i małych. Brzmi zagadkowo - ciekawe, kto dziś umie tańczyć sarabandę?...
Coffee tone - soul, pop, funk; lata 70-te w naszych czasach! Zespół przypomni najlepsze przeboje Stevie Wondera, Raya Charlsa czy Michaela Jacksona.
R Cat's - bardziej rockowe klimaty, choć mowa raczej o bardzo wczesnym rocku - usłyszycie kawałki Elvisa, Chucka Berry'ego i wielu innych.
Imprezy taneczne odbędą się na lewym wybrzeżu Saony między mostami Maréchal Juin i Bonaparte. Potrwają od 21:00 do 0:30.

Na 22:30 zaplanowano 20-minutowy pokaz sztucznych ogni, który rozświetli nocne niebo nad Bazyliką Fourviere.
Niestety w tym roku nie będzie mnie w tym czasie w Lyonie, żebym mogła zrelacjonować wam przebieg imprezy, ale pamiętajcie o jednym - w żadnym wypadku nie próbujcie dostać się na obchody rowerem z miejskiej wypożyczalni! Dlaczego? Przeczytajcie tu ;-)

On this occasion the city has planned not one, like a year ago, but three, so-called balls:
Le P'tit bal - From Sarabande to waltz for large and small. That sounds puzzling - I wonder who today can dance sarabande? ...
