Tuż przed świętami jeszcze jedna porcja zdjęć z wieczornych spacerów. Kto stąd, a jeszcze nie wyjechał na święta, albo wręcz przeciwnie – przyjechał do Lyonu, by odpocząć od świątecznych przygotowań – macie jeszcze cztery dni by odwiedzić jarmarki bożonarodzeniowe! Zdecydowanie polecam ten na Placu Carnot (na Croix-Rousse możecie pojechać, jeśli macie dzieci, które zwierzęta gospodarskie znają z książek z obrazkami – obejrzą tam krowę, owcę, kozę i inne zwierzęta. Porządnych zakupów tam jednak nie zrobicie – stoisk jest niewiele).

Just before Christmas another portion of photos of my evening walks. You, who live here and haven't yet left for the holidays, or on the contrary – who came to Lyon to take a break from Christmas preparations – you still have four days to visit the Christmas markets! I would definitely recommend the one on the Place Carnot (the one at the Croix-Rousse hill is nice if you have children that know livestock only from picture books – there's a cow, sheep, goat and other animals there. Shopping on the other hand will not be very fruitful – there are only a few stands).

Na jarmarku na Placu Carnot koniecznie spróbujcie grillowanych kasztanów (pycha!) i grzańca – warto rozejrzeć się za takim z białego wina (np. z aromatem figowym), którego w Polsce raczej się nie serwuje, albo za czerwonym z 8 przyprawami (Vin Chaud aux 8 èpices) – to najbardziej aromatyczny grzaniec na jarmarku!

On the market in the Place Carnot be sure to try the grilled chestnuts (yum!) and mulled wine – look around for one made from white wine (eg. with aromas of fig), or the red wine with 8 spices (Vin Chaud aux 8 Epices) – it's the most aromatic mulled wine at the market!
